Q: Have you had any experiences with the homeless?
A: Uhm, I have actually, it’s weird you ask that, on our new album, the band, we called it the bum song I wrote it about meeting a homeless guy and preaching to him about the lord and not necessarily preaching to him about Christianity or any of that bullcrap that people try to shove down your throat, I was talking to him about love and there is a line in the new song where i’m like, “Read this book you were meant to live, all the words they mean so much to me, but pay attention to whats written in red” and whats written in red in most bibles is what Jesus is talking about and so it is just me telling this homeless guy about love and that there is so much more out there and do not lose hope… x
you’re a perfect human being
